About Warren

Warren is Michigan's third-largest city and the population center of Macomb County. Its identity is tied to work: the General Motors Technical Center, a landmark mid-century campus designed by Eero Saarinen, sits here, along with the U.S. Army's Detroit Arsenal.

Beyond those anchors, Warren is mostly residential and commercial, organized along the Van Dyke Avenue and Mound Road corridors and the mile roads that cross them. Neighborhoods are largely post-war, affordable by regional standards, and increasingly diverse.
